Two more squares completed! Whew! It still seems though that no matter how many squares I finish, I still have a dozen more that need to be done. Here are the latest two squares I’ve finished:

This is the Judy Sumner square with little bugs all over the place. This square is another one of the five hardest squares, but I found it pretty easy to complete. I love this square, especially the leaf pattern on the left-hand side.

The Kathleen T. Carty square. Oh. My. God. This square was hard. I had actually completed the cable border a few weeks ago, but I was waiting on the needles I needed to finish the center part. The cable border was the hard part of the square. There were a lot of techniques I had never done before. It was definitely challenging, which I think is a good thing. That being said, I don’t think I would re-do this square anytime soon.

It was fun to see your square. I remember when I designed it based on a birthday card I got from my granddaughters. It had X’s and O’s and spiders and bug on it and I said “kisses and hugs and spiders and bugs” when I saw it and then decided to design the square using those elements. Good job!

Thank you, Judy, for commenting on my square! I’m so completely excited right now that one of the designers found me and actually left me a comment. Thank you for creating such a cute square that I really enjoyed knitting!
